Video and Slide Show Editing

I have been doing editing as freelance work on a commission-only basis since 2004. My charges are cheap, not because it lacks quality, but because I can't afford to put myself on a time constraint. There will be times that I will be completely unavailable to do it. Below I list my standard rates.

Equipment used: Final Cut Express HD, iMovie 7, DVD Studio Pro 2, Photoshop CS4

Video Editing

down payment: $50.00
raw footage: $.50 for every minute of raw footage I have to input to my computer; this charge is waived if the video is already in .mov format on a DVD-R, CD-R, or thumb drive.
charge for editing and clean-up: $5.00-$10.00 per minute of video edited, depending on what kind of editing is being required; rates negotiable.
mpeg-4 (iTunes video) encoding and CD cost (if not getting a DVD): $15.00
burned to DVD as video: $25.00

raw images: $.25 for every picture given
compilation with effects and music: $10.00 per minute of photos
